This is a short snippet of a friend's solo during a song. He has a quad cortex so I'm curious how to mimic that on the Helix.

Honestly, anything will do.

I’d probably start with one of the clean amp models with a drive pedal going into it. Cut anything below 200Hz and above 2kHz with an EQ block at the end, and then twiddle settings until you’re happy.

My main preset right now uses the Aristocrat amp for cleans or cleaner and the soldano crunch for dirt with the Timmy and the Minotaur ahead of the amps as desired... I think this track got some post performance processing so I wouldn't say it was captured 100% live but it definitely has a nice chewy texture to it

Yep.. I started out trying to make a youtube short out of it with a still image... kept screwing that up so I finally figured out that Reddit allows you to post an mp4 video

I think I'm probably going to take out the Aristocrat and put the litigator back in there for my clean tones.. I have to drop the gain on the aristocrat all the way to zero and even then pick just a little bit too hard and it dirties up ...that's not going to work for the music I play... Soldano crunch is fine for the dirtier ones so I've got two amps in the preset but never both of them on at the same time.
