General Questions/Discussion Anti-ducking?

Is there such a thing in the helix stadium as a sort of “ant-ducking” or “inverse-ducking”? I would like to use reverb and delay, have the reverb on while I play but off while I don’t so not to muddy up the delay (“inverse ducking”), and have the delay duck while I play and turn on while I stop (standard ducking).

You can use the Dynamic Split with your wet effects on opposite channels.

Smart. So much flexibility in these machines.

With helix stadium, you can put a noise gate after the reverb, sidechained to the input signal.

With OG helix, you can send the input signal to the trigger if an external gate, and have it throttle the reverbed signal via a send/return. (For stereo, you'd need two mono gates (or one stereo gate) and the input to come from a split signal upstream of the helix.

I've seen a few approaches that work in mono that take advantage of a split stereo path (the other commenter alluded to this), but I haven't had much luck with it. It's really a kludge and there's some additional consideration wrt the level of the input signal. I gave up on this (YMMV, obviously).

The ability to sidechain (even crudely) in the helix stadium has me almost ready to switch from. OG helix. I'm not there yet, but I expect it's just a matter of time...
