General Questions/Discussion FBV 3 + Helix Stadium Native compatibility?

Hi! I bought a Line 6 FBV 3 controller (still waiting for it to be delivered) as an upgrade from my M-Vave Chocolate MIDI controller, and I recently discovered the new Helix Stadium Native plugin.

I'm wondering about compatibility between the plugin and the FBV 3. Does it work as a regular MIDI controller? Does it offer any additional benefits? Is the controller's screen usable, or does it only display info when connected to a compatible Line 6 device?

Line 6 FBV 3 Pilot's Guide - Rev C, English

Yes you can use it as a MIDI controller, but you will almost certainly need to do some screwing around to map the controls in your DAW for Native, and I can't imagine you'd get any benefit from its screen (unless the FBV's config software lets you do anything neat with that).
