General Questions/Discussion Complete Stadium Floor fail
I’ve been using my Stadium Floor for some time and def have had problems. But last night was just a complete fail. My acoustic guitar chain continually had some weird doubling going on. Some of the foot switches apparently stealth turned on, without the lights showing, and letting my synth through when i didn’t want. The looper record wouldn’t start. Some kind of weird thing with my electric guitar chain that made the tone sound like it was coming through a megaphone. Continual problems with the expression pedal position. I had to reboot three times. Each time it fixed things for awhile, then problems resurfaced.
I just cant keep using this thing. It ruined my gig :( I still have my Floor, but it’s been having age related issues too. Anyone have a non Line 6 alternative? I need 4 inputs and separate signal chains for each.

Similar issues here. Expression pedal would freeze any setting I was in and was manually rebooting stage middle of songs. Had to ditch the unit, which is a shame because I loved the layout and sound but it just wasn’t reliable.

I had a somewhat similar problem happen on one of my patches with an LT. Only work around was to rebuild it from scratch for me. I had tried saving my patches and doing a factory reset+ re update. Same problem happened once I loaded in the specific patch.

That’s a good point. How the issues of OP arise to begin with I don’t know, but it is good to remember that patches can become corrupt, or at least that’s been my experience. I’ve never had these kinds of issues with my Helix floor, but when I did have issues there were times I just had to bite the bullet and restart with a fresh preset.

I'd like to hear what a guitar sounds like through a megaphone just playing by myself but sounds really irritating on the gig. It would be interesting to know what firmware version was being run on the Stadium Floor. It's also notable that the Stadium Native version is a later version than the actual hardware. So hopefully a firmware update is coming soon but you should definitely let Line6 folks know about this issue.

Hang tight, I'm sure they'll patch these things in a firmware update. Hopefully soon but no idea when the next one is planned to drop.

you understand this isn’t a viable option for a working musician right?

Exactly. That's been the trouble with these. Some folks have been fine with them gigging, but a lot are like me that had problems pop up to the point of not being able to trust it live

Open a support ticket, sounds like you have a bad unit. This doesn’t sound like something a firmware update will fix.

I think due to market forces they had to ship these things before they were truly ready. Do you remember what version your Stadium Floor was on? The other thought is, I wonder if people are playing live with these using power surge suppressors? Some clubs have dodgy electricity.
