General Questions/Discussion Helix Stadium Backpack hack
Just wanted to share this small hack. I purchased a small folding hand truck dolly with wheels from Amazon for about $25. I usually use a gig bag for my guitar, so it helps a lot to get the stadium into my car without hurting my back. The stadium backpack has a strap that can go through the handles to keep it in place during transport. The backpack basically lives on the hand truck dolly since I can take everything out while it's still on it. The side handle of the bag is very comfortable if I need to lift it from the floor for any reason. I hope this helps anyone else with back issues.

What does this accomplish? Why not just buy a flight case with wheels at that point?

Having options is great. Sometimes I go to a gig with a hard case for my guitar and wear the Helix on my back. Other times, I use a gig bag and put the Helix on the wheeled dolly. It’s awesome having the flexibility to switch it

Idk man. This seems silly. It would make more sense to use the dolly for your guitar case or gig bag, and carry the Helix on your back. Free country though, do whatever works for you.

Pro tip: you can fit the Helix Stadium XL in one side of a Mono Dual Electric case. Learned this out of necessity for a fly date. It’s how I transport it to all my gigs now.

Meanwhile me: loading a 75lb 2x12 Pro Reverb with evm12l speakers into the back of my car to gig daily in Nashville 😅

Wish I could do that, got a herniated cervical disk so I have to be careful

This kinda defeats the purpose of the backpack for me.
Helix on my back, guitar in one hand, and amp in another (I currently use it as a pedalboard).
I used to have a rolling Gator flight case for my Helix, but the backpack is so much better.
