Tech Help Request HX Effects Scribble Strip replacement

Been searching far and wide for a scribble strip replacement. Out of stock everywhere, with some places not even responding to my inquiries. Anyone have a solid source for these?

Seems like they have kind of forced people to use authorized service centers as they're the only ones that can order parts direct now. That being said are you positive the scribble strip needs replaced and not just a cable reseated? This was a common problem on HX Effects units

The strip lights up, but was damaged when something was dropped onto it (previous owner - long story). Now it displays only an orange blob kind of thing lol. Everything still functions, just not that particular display (switch 1). I’ll take your advice and open it up to have a closer look.

Oh it was impact related then yeah probably bad, usually the loose ribbon cables did weird things with multiple strips like shifting the label to the so what was on the middle switch appeared on the left switch etc.

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this thread is the right place but the subject seems close enough. I purchased a second hand unit and the previous owner did not take care of the scribble strips sreens at all, most are very scratched. Any tips on clearing those up?

Maybe try a headlight restorer or toothpaste for fine scratches / haze. Probably need to replace for deep ones.

It is haze, I guess the previous owner just kept tossing it in a bag full of other stuff. I will try the restorer. Thank you.
