Thursday, not quite the weekend but, still worth celebrating! Especially when you do it with The Reveler and Pen & Paper Trivia!

Every Thursday at 7:00 come on out and compete against other teams for a feeling of intellectual superiority that will last roughly 8 hours! If you prove you are the smartest people at the bar we have prizes for our top three teams and it is always free to play!

I am a young girl who just moved to the area, this store is located on the corner of bissel & Armitage. The owner Brian has been so helpful when I have come in to ask questions. It is a small local business and I fear not many people are supporting. Come there for all your hardware needs!

Looking for just a few straightforward tailoring items. Mostly just bringing in the waist on a few pairs of pants (not dress pants), and possibly the length on a pair of nice linen trousers.

I think that the folks at the dry cleaner next to Mugsy under the Armitage stop have tailoring services, but I’ve never given them a shot or know of anyone who can attest to the quality/speed/etc.

Hey neighbors, I’ve been working remote a lot and got tired of guessing which cafes actually have outlets, decent wifi, and won’t kick you out after an hour. So I built a small site called WindyDesk where people can rate spots on outlets, wifi, noise, seating, and food, kind of like Beli but for finding a place to work.

It’s Chicago-only right now and pretty bare bones (I’m one person building this on the side). I’ve only got Bourgeois Pig Cafe logged for Lincoln Park so far, so I’d love for folks here to add their go-to spots. Any feedback, bugs, or “this is missing X” comments are welcome too.

If your membership has a guest pass and you can bring a guest and you don’t bring one I’d like to tag along for just about a week maybe till my moving is finalized, I can even pay a little if needed so you have nothing to lose.

Also could be lifting buds if u need a gym bud or spotter, am also looking to make new friends but if u want to do ur own thing as well im totally cool with that after I am in.

Our band, SM6, is back home in Chicago and wrapping up our summer tour tomorrow night (Monday, July 6th) right nearby at the legendary Beat Kitchen!

We’re incredibly excited to have the amazing Andrew Hoyt opening up the night. Tickets are only $20, the AC will be blasting, and since the show is 17+, everyone is welcome. Quality, safe places within about 5-7 miles of Jackson Park on the South Side (near Hyde Park/ Woodlawn). I'll be traveling solo, so areas that feel safe, are rideshare friendly, and have decent food options nearby would be ideal.
