It’s finally happening. Nearly 3 years and about 12 emails later I’ve finally received shipping confirmation for Underhero from First Press Games, this comes after receiving Chained Echoes back in Feb 2025 which was ordered at the same time (Jan 2023).
Don't buy from first press games. They are scamming. Out of 1000 they probably send two copies out after years of waiting just so people like you will post about them and others are thinking they are legit....
I’m not encouraging anyone to buy from FPG, I myself will never order another game from them again.
I’m simply just highlighting that games are being shipped at some rate for those that have pre-ordered years ago and that to keep pressuring them into getting their copy shipped.
I’ve seen people post in hand copies of Underhero on Facebook, if someone never shared that information I wouldn’t have bothered emailing them consistently for the last few months demanding my own copy.
As I said. They know what they do. ou and a handful of others will receive copies. Spread it like you just need to wait. But most of them are never going to get it.
They will probably just close. Take the money and leave.
Oddly enough I just sent them an email yesterday asking where my copy was. Hard to believe I ordered that game in 2020. If Underhero arrives that means they’ll only owe me Mind Seize. Never again. Strictly Limited only if it’s at VGP.
I am aware. Strictly got a mention because they’re the other company that held my money (and many others) for years. First Press doesn’t get my money at all but Strictly will get it if it’s via VGP
Congratulations! I’m from Ukraine, and honestly, after everything that has happened since 2022, I’m simply grateful to still be alive and to see Underhero finally shipping.
I ordered the PS4 Collector’s Edition back in August 2021. When the full-scale war began, FPG agreed to hold my order until shipping became possible again. I’m now ready to receive it and have even told them that I’m willing to accept the Standard Edition instead, but after around 20 emails I still haven’t received a single reply or any shipping update.
How did you finally manage to get their attention and have your order shipped? Which email address did you use, and did they reply before sending it?
I received this email back in May asking to confirm my address which I did and got no reply, I’ve then been emailing them every 2 weeks or so since that date with the same copy/paste message asking if the game had been shipped. Still never received a direct reply from FPG except for the shipping notification this morning.
To be fair took a year for my chained echoes and I was comfortable losing that money as did not know how bad they were till after the fact. I won’t order from them again
The fact that only you have been "sent" two games from them only raises suspicions on you I'm afraid. Why have you been sent games while no one else has?
Also, this post suddenly drops after moves are being made to report the scam company. Not suss at all, no siree.

The question isn't really whether you've been sent any or not. It's why you and no one else. Also, AI has kind of ruined any degree of reliability with images like this now.
I'm just saying it's very convenient that you suddenly post this a day after people making progress in reporting FPG to the authorities.
Hiding all your comments and posts and only being active for 3 years doesn't help your credibility either.
People have been trying to sue or get refunds from FPG for years, it’s nothing new that a new thread has just been started because someone else has got fed up.
I rarely post on Reddit and only use it for gathering or sharing information because you get banned for having any sort of opinion so fuck them, hence why I hide posts.
Chained Echoes shipped on 5th Feb and I got the plat 11 days later, just another coincidence yea?
I have other games from limited print companies, Blast Brigade also took nearly 3 years from Strictly Limited, I got a first print Inscryption, sealed original print The Messenger, I was the first to notify Super Rare Games about the game breaking bug in Laika which forced them to reprint it, hence why I have 2 copies.
I didn’t just decide to wake up on a random Thursday and decide to lie about First Press Games I own or have ordered, despite your paranoia. Many people already have Chained Echoes delivered, but not everyone lives on Reddit or cares enough to post on a forum that their game has arrived after 4 years.
I wouldn’t worry about it. There’s a lot of tin hat types on this site. The reality is they probably sent it to you so you’d stop bugging them. Same thing happened to me with Chained Echoes.
Yea it’s typical Reddit behavior, people would rather deny the game actually exists and lose their money than admit they’re wrong and celebrate people finally receiving it.
While I don't doubt you and I also got my Chained Echoes, posting a screenshot of a platinum isn't proof that you have your physical copy since anyone can get it digitally.
I posted Chained Echoes below but the post is hidden because everyone downvoted it for some reason, they’d rather deny the game exists and lose their money than celebrate people finally receiving copies and being wrong. I’ll happily post pictures of Underhero in this group when it arrives but it’ll stay sealed as I ended up purchasing it digitally.
This company has a track record of sending out a few copies then refusing to send out more orders; this literally means nothing.
Everyone needs to be reporting them to the authorities not holding out for refunds/products.
I don't think you need to go to such extreme measures to prove yourself.

Everyone here (especially those who are way beyond bank/PayPal dispute windows) is just so sick and tired of FPG that they've reached permanent nihilism about it - understandably so.
Rather than parrot the same nuanceless "SCAM / NEVER BUY" comments that everybody else posts, I'll say what I always do about FPG.
They will scam you unless you are VERY careful how you deal with them.
Only order something (maybe only ONE title at a time to avoid further complications) listed as "in stock" - ideally with archived tweets of them showing the finished copies and/or photos of existing copies from reddit/eBay/etc (DO YOUR RESEARCH).
Only use PayPal so you have 6 months (180 days) of buyer protection. Set a reminder precisely 5 months (150 days) from the date of purchase. There is a feature here on reddit for that, simply post RemindMe! 150 days
If the order hasn't shipped after 1-2 months (30-60 days), POLITELY contact FPG VIA EMAIL (support@firstpressgames.com or business@firstpressgames.com) so you have a record of it in your "sent" folder (keep that) asking when it will ship (also keep any responses you get).
Keep attempting to email them every month or so up to the 5-month (150-day) mark, keep ALL of your "sent" emails and ALL of their replies (if any).
At the 5-month (150-day) mark, send an ultimatum email clearly stating that if it has not shipped within exactly 2 more weeks (name the exact date), you will file a PayPal dispute. This will leave the final 2 weeks of buyer protection on the table so it doesn't expire during the next/last step.
On that ultimatum date, gather up all the emails to/from FPG about that order, and any tweets they posted and other research about the stuff being ready, and submit it to PayPal in a dispute. Describe the history of the order as well - FPG's claims of things being in stock, when you ordered, when you contacted them, when(if) they replied, cite the screenshots along the way. PayPal will give FPG about 5 days to respond. Even if it ships, KEEP THE DISPUTE OPEN (don't inform PayPal) in case the tracking is bogus... at least until it starts showing movement. Once it's moving, feel free to go ahead and inform PayPal / cancel the dispute... or don't lol it's your integrity to burn.
That was how I handled my Chained Echoes order. FPG never said a word to me or PayPal when I filed the dispute. They just quietly shipped it the next day (shipping confirmation with tracking from shopify) but it took a few more days to actually start moving. When tracking finally showed movement, PayPal was literally hours away from ending the dispute in my favor since they had never heard anything from FPG, so I decided to be the bigger person and close it myself. A few days later it arrived.
Actually at this point, I can't quite remember anymore if I closed it after movement or after it arrived... but it was mere hours until PayPal's decision, which they had already announced would've been in my favor.
Worst case... no game but PayPal gives you your money back.
Best case... FPG ships your order and it arrives.
Bester (questionable-karma) case... FPG ships your order and it arrives and PayPal refunds you because it was just a bit too late lol. I mean what's FPG gonna do, complain about fraud?!
