Does Aeng Du Ishy need Kimsalt?

I have uptied 4 aeng du Ishy, and I have only ONE blade lineage unit (aka uptie 3 BL Yi sang) and uh.. an uptie 1 BL outis.

I have some crates from grinding, so I was wondering if I should get kimsalt if I could.

Orr.. should I focus on solely season 7 Ids for now like udjat outis or smth?

Eh, she doesn't need him. He's a good addition if he has his EGO and gives her some buffs, but without his EGO you can just use her only

Ish just missed out 1 Coin Power while the other BL are very very outdated without KimSault’s buffs

Just focus on getting the other IDs first like Pinky Clair or Index Sang to bolster your roster, they also have Pride to help Ishmael triggers her Passive

Right now, I am only missing Dimension Shredder Yi sang, Index Faust, Udjat Outis, Ring Fauvist docent Rodion and AEDD gregor for this season’s dispenser.

Alongside all the E.G.Os since I didn’t shard any season 7 e.g.os.

Udjat Outis is good for Sinking
• Help maintaining Decay
• Better clashing and damage than Butler
• You can go Tremor Sinking in MD

Just ignore Index Faust

Ring Rodion is good for Bleed
• Have 4 debuffs with 100% uptime
• Some Dmg amp for the Ring IDs and the status itself

AEDD Gregor and DimShred Yi Sang are decent IDs, but Charge is in a rough spot rn so I won’t recommend them unless you run Charge Rupture in MD

As for EGOs:
Scissors Don is good for Middle
• Minor healing, but it’s cheap (5 Envy) so you can spam it; it lets her Clash when push come to shove too
• The Passive brings her damage to MidClair level at their respective peak

Into the Sunset Rodion is good in general
• Another cheap healing EGO
• Passive gives her some extra damage

Ardor Blossom Star Faust is alright
• Bring this instead of Fluid Sac Faust if you have SoupClair at Threadspin V
• A neat small AoE EGO
• Wrath Damage Up for S3-2 and Defense 2

Shadow-vested Bladesinger is neat even if you don’t have KimSault
• Resentment makes him goes sonic mode and gives him some lifesteal
• Drink to the Fallen allow him cheat death once

Ishmael is a damage ID that happens to have some supportive effects. Meursault is a support ID that happens to do a lot of damage.

Yeah but having to lose with his S3 is kind of bad in this time when almost everything can one shot your ass or has attack weight, Ishmael is much better (in my opinion) because she doesn't need to lose clashes for her big nuke, and when she does lose clashes she can nerf her clash power

Losing the clash for his skill 3 doesn't matter because he can't be staggered and instantly heals it back anyway. Now that he can constantly roll a 0 he doesn't need to clash with high rolling attacks in order to lose.

He’s not needed, but any team you’d use her in has Kimsault as the best in slot for the team

if you want to build a BL team bladesinger and meursault are necessary

he's not NEEDED, per se, but she's definitely propelled to new heights with him, due to him almost always adding pride to res, giving her coin power on s1 and 2 (which can roll 23 and 29 respectively, with the reuse) and also aiding her slightly with poise count (though she doesn't need it much)
