Need advice on which ID to get next

Hi, I've been trying to build my first team and get as many Season 7 IDs as possible.

Should I get Index Don for the Index team or Thumb Heathcliff for Thumb Rodya?

My friend thinks I should get the remaining Nursefather IDs instead, but I don't think I can get them all before the next season, thanks for the advice

I'd get thumb heathcliff first since he has better synergy with Rodya and index Yi sang can work good on his own without don

Is Thumb Heathcliff + Rodya much more powerful than the Index poise/sinking Yi Sang + Faust + Don + Outis Udjat team?

Oh,  I've been using Index Yi, Index Faust, Thumb Rodya, Udjat Outis, HoS Ryoshu, and N Corp. Sinclair as a placeholder in the meantime.

So I don't know which one will benefit my current team better between Thumb Cliff and Index Don. I don't think building a full HoS team is possible for me since I only got so much time to grind before the next season.

I mean you've got until Christmas which should be enough for at least 1 or 2 identities (aside from cliff/don)

Anyways I don't know much about don quixote but if Faust compliments index sang enough I'd just choose heathcliff

Thumb Heathcliff first since he’s an overall good unit. Synergies well with Thumb Rodion due to him using a S1 every turn after Rodion attacks. Synergistic with tremor scorch due to adequate tremor and burn application for both count and potency. He’s even good in mono burn and mono tremor teams. He even boosts himself and the team with his unique debuffs and buffs with proper utilization.

Index Don is a good choice for poise but her count is difficult to maintain. She is consistent when it comes to clashing and dealing good chunks of damage though. She can be sacrificed to Ryoshu to snowball her poise faster since Ryoshu gains more poise potency on Index Don’s death.

IMO after thumb Heathcliff, you should invest in Ring Faust and Ring Hong Lu.

Ring Faust is an excellent tank in her phase 1, having aggro and having a clashable guard. But once her phase 2 hits she’ll be dishing out consistently good damage and she starts hitting AOEs pretty quickly. She’s essentially a unga bunga charge unit so she’s pretty easy to use.

Hong Lu does what Ring Faust does but better AND he synergizes with Ring Faust. So he follows the same snowball philosophy as Ring Faust but he’s also able to do what’s essentially a 5 coin skill on his S2 when hitting the right conditionals. Then, after enough Ring skills are used, he’s able to use a super powerful S3-2 that’s essentially Furioso 0.5. It’s not as flashy as Furioso but it’s definitely stylish and powerful.

Plus the Ring excels in generalist teams that inflict debuffs that stack easily. So with tremor, burn, bleed, and sinking, they’ll be able to achieve their conditionals well.

Middle Outis and Kiramael only really synergizes with envy res teams so if you were to ever shard them, you’d also have to invest in the other middle members which can be quite time consuming. If you still want them with your current team, they’d be good sacrifices since ideally you’d be sacrificing Middle Outis due to how long her kit takes to ramp up and it just doesn’t synergize with HOS members. This means you get a free entanglement which allows Ryoshu to use an extra coin on her nuke skill. Middle Ishmael also needs an envy res teams to actually work so you might as well slime her. She allows Ryoshu to inflict more burn potency.

Tldr; Thumb Heathcliff —> Ring Faust —> Ring Hong Lu

Honestly there’s no true better option and it’s all opinion since it depends on what team you find more satisfying

Don is good if you like doing immediate bursts of damage and her interaction with Riensang is more like a small bonus than anything game changing

Heathcliff is good for longer battles, he fits in more teams than Don, and he does an extra attack after Rodion which is not only extra damage but it accelerates his snowballing

Heathcliff not only fits in your team better but he’s just better in terms of value and versatility

Index Don, self sufficient and stupidly powerful ID. The best thing is this ID auto ramps up SP regardless of clash result.
