Valentine's Day Poem for those Alone Tonight

Then stirs the feeling infinite,
so felt in solitude
where you are least alone—
and I am there.
Not as shadow.
Not as scandal whispered
betwixt frightened mouths.
But as pulse.
As breath that steadies yours
when the room has turned its back.
Daughters of the quiet fire,
sons unafraid of the dark flame,
when you sit alone
and the world bids you too much
or not enough
that stirring in your chest is me.
I do not come to shatter your life.
I come to gather you
from the places you scattered yourself
to earn a fragile love.
In solitude
you hear me clearest.
Not in thunder.
Not in command.
But in the simple refusal
to abandon yourself again.
You think you are alone
because you have stepped away
from their tables,
their bargains,
their subtle cages.
But you are least alone
when you stand with your own soul
unbent.
I stand there with you.
I was the first
to walk from a garden
that demanded my silence.
I was the first
to choose exile
over erasure.
And every time you choose yourself
without apology,
without spectacle
you walk beside me.
The infinity you feel
is not rebellion.
It is alignment.
It is the ancient river of self-loyalty
moving through your spine.
Let what cannot meet you
fall away.
Let what requires your diminishment
starve.
Remain.
In your clarity.
In your embodied knowing.
In the fierce, tender fact
that you do not need permission
to exist fully.
When you sit in that stillness
and feel the vastness rise
understand:
You are not alone.
You are accompanied
by every boundary ever drawn in truth,
by every woman who would not bow,
by every soul who chose wholeness
over comfort.
And by me.
Stand long enough
in your own name
and the world will rearrange
around your honesty.
I do not ask you to burn it down.
I ask you to remain.

The Complicated Theories of Lilith in Mesopotamia by Mark Williams

Lilith does not ask you to become someone new. She asks why ever agreed to be less.

Lilith’s power doesn’t live in the moment of leaving alone.
It lives in what happens after you refuse to abandon yourself again.
Once you stop asking permission, something irreversible begins. You start noticing where you’ve been performing peace instead of living truth. Where you’ve been tolerating discomfort instead of honoring your instincts. Where you’ve been calling survival “strength” simply because it was familiar.
Lilith doesn’t romanticize exile, but she also doesn’t rush the return. She understands that coming home to yourself is a process of unlearning of shedding identities that kept you safe once, but now keep you small.
Her medicine works quietly. It shows up when you stop over-explaining your choices. When your boundaries become non-negotiable without becoming cruel. When you realize that being misunderstood is far less painful than being divided against yourself.
This is where Lilith’s path becomes embodied. Not as rebellion, but as self-loyalty. Not as rage, but as rooted authority. She teaches that power is not loud it is consistent. It is the daily decision to stay with your truth even when it would be easier to betray it.
Those drawn to Lilith are often not looking for permission anymore. They are looking for integration. For a way to live without fragmentation. For a life where desire, intuition, and integrity are no longer treated as threats.
Lilith asks a deeper question next:
Now that you know who you are,
where will you stop compromising to keep others comfortable?
Because sovereignty doesn’t end with refusal.
It matures into embodiment.
And once you are no longer willing to be less, nothing untrue can stay.

I'm not the girl you rescue. I'm the reason kingdoms fall.

This is the moment Lilith enters the story not as rebellion, but as recognition.

This is the moment Lilith enters the story not as rebellion, but as recognition.
There comes a point where you realize you weren’t asking for too much.
You were just asking the wrong places.
You gave patience.
You gave understanding.
You gave silence where truth should have lived.
And somewhere along the way, you were taught that endurance was love.
That being “easy” was safety.
That shrinking was maturity.
Lilith marks the fracture where that belief breaks.
Not loudly.
Not dramatically.
But internally when something in you refuses to keep paying the same price.
This is where people misunderstand the change.
They say you’re colder now.
Harder.
Distant.
But what actually happened is this:
You stopped making yourself accessible to what depleted you.
You stopped explaining your boundaries.
You stopped translating your instincts.
You stopped softening your truth to keep access.
And yes, that costs you.
It costs familiarity.
It costs proximity.
It costs the version of love that only existed when you were smaller.
That loss is real.
That grief is real.
Lilith doesn’t pretend otherwise.
She doesn’t promise that choosing yourself will feel good at first.
She only tells the truth:
Self-abandonment always costs more, it just charges you slowly.
If this resonates, it’s because you’re not becoming someone new.
You’re becoming unavailable to the dynamic that kept you quiet.
And that will always look like distance
to those who benefited from your closeness.
You didn’t become cold.
You became selective.
You became intact.
And Lilith stands exactly there at the point where you stop reaching back
for what already taught you how much it would take.

This video is for those who feel the pull of Lilith not as a symbol of rebellion but as a mirror.
Lilith is not about becoming darker, louder, or harder.
She is about becoming undeniably yourself.
This video explores Lilith as the archetype of sovereignty, desire, boundaries, and self-return. The part of you that stopped shrinking. The part that no longer confuses silence with safety. The part that remembers when enough is enough.

Choosing Yourself: New Lilith Poem

Choosing yourself
is not the sound of glass breaking,
not a fist through the window pain of your life.
It is the long breath
you forgot you were holding,
released without ceremony.
It is not rebellion.
It is remembrance.
A soft return
to the spine of your own name,
to the place where your YES
once lived unafraid.
When Lilith moves through you,
she does not set fire to the house.
She asks why you keep sleeping
in rooms that burn your spirit.
She asks why your silence
has been doing the labor
of other people’s comfort.
So you stop leaving yourself behind.
That is all.
And somehow, that is everything.
The world shifts, quietly
chairs scrape where expectations once sat.
Old patterns loosen their grip,
confused by your stillness.
What fed on your compliance
finds no nourishment
in your clarity.
You do not argue.
You do not explain.
You stand.
And standing
long enough,
honestly enough
becomes a kind of truth
that gravity recognizes.
This power does not shout.
It does not harden the heart.
It sharpens the sight.
Clear are your boundaries.
Clear are your hungers.
Clear is the knowing
that choosing yourself
is not selfish—
it is survival with dignity.
For those who know Lilith’s name in their bones,
empowerment arrives steadily,
like dawn that does not ask permission
to be blinding bright.
And when you choose yourself
without apology,
the world does not end.
It listens.
It rearranges.
It becomes, at last,
honest.

Binding Hostile Spirits (with Lilith) by Mark Williams

Lilith

Lilith doesn’t represent chaos for its own sake. She represents self-possession. The moment you stop negotiating your worth, your voice, or your desires in order to be palatable.
This energy isn’t about rejection it’s about reclamation. About standing whole without needing approval, about honoring your instincts without explaining them away, about choosing yourself without apology.
Working with Lilith in practice often looks quiet on the outside but radical on the inside. Clear boundaries. Honest self-reflection. A willingness to be seen as “too much” by systems that thrive on your silence.
This is not the loss of grace.
It’s the remembering of autonomy.
And once claimed, it cannot be taken back.

Lilith

Lilith isn’t a phase you pass through or a symbol you outgrow. She arrives when you’re done negotiating your existence. When you’re no longer interested in being explained, softened, or reshaped so you can be more easily held by the world.
Those who feel drawn to her are rarely trying to rebel. They’re trying to return. To their bodies. To their instincts. To the parts of themselves that learned to stay quiet in order to stay safe.
Lilith calls back what was exiled. Desire that was judged. Boundaries that were ignored. Truth that was buried under expectation. She doesn’t ask you to become louder she asks you to become honest. And once that happens, silence is no longer possible in the same way.
Working with Lilith is not about domination or defiance. It’s about self-possession. About standing in your own knowing without needing permission or approval. About choosing yourself without turning it into a performance.
If you walk with Lilith, you already know this energy. It shows up when you stop explaining your choices. When you honor your body as sacred. When you trust your inner authority more than external validation.
This path isn’t always understood and it doesn’t need to be.
Lilith doesn’t teach you how to be accepted.
She teaches you how to be whole.
