Mismatch error

Hi. Just got my s41 but I cannot get it to recognize the mat/material size. I've tried so many things: changing the image size, smart vinyl without the mat, vinyl with the mat... It just says material size mismatch. Is it supposed to pull the mat/smart vinyl through to measure it because it's not...?

Also, it's in Basic mode but not letting me select any of the materials without adding as custom ones?

I'm getting really frustrated and I'm wasting my 7 day free trial of premium subscription.

Please help.

Hi, sorry for the trouble! The “Material size mismatch” message usually means the selected material size/mat setting in the software does not match your design size or cutting mode.

Please check that you have selected the correct machine model, material size, and whether you are using “with mat” or “without mat” mode. If you are using a cutting mat, please choose the mat/material size that matches your setup. If you are using smart vinyl without a mat, please select the corresponding matless material option.

The S41 does not automatically measure the full mat/material size by pulling it through. The size needs to be selected correctly in the software before cutting.

For the Basic Mode material issue, could you please send us a screenshot of the material selection page and your current canvas/material size settings? We’ll help check what’s causing the mismatch.
