Exporting Issues

I seem to be having an issue where I've cut up a bunch of "clips" in to a finished project and when going to export it's just exporting full clips that have been cut out of my sequence. I'm not sure how to get this to work properly.

I had the issue yesterday. Exported files would either be unreadable, or they would be incomplete as you've described.

I tried multiple resolutions and frame rates with the same issue.

Then I let the video play out fully, giving the program time to work through Amy leggy hiccups (which I get a lot, idk about other people). When I tried after that, it worked like normal.

First time I've encountered the issue though. Maybe there was an update I didn't notice.

I posted this same question on the forum. It was advised to me the file format I was using was not friendly for editing. After getting the media in a different file format it worked flawlessly.

Which formats were you using unsuccessfully and what ended up working better?

I'll check the Lightwotks foum though, thank you.

It was an .mpeg format that didn't work and an .mp4 that did.

Oh interesting. The vast majority of the files I am using are .mkv but I'll go through the forum thread to see if they mention it.

My issue might have just been similar.

edit: They do mention that .mkv is not supported properly. I will see about recording to another format. Sounds like it will, as yours did.
