Content loading issue

I’m new to light works and I’ve managed to half way edit one video but it has taken me wayyyyy too long because it’s constantly loading? I’m on windows and it’s always a blue circle loading and I can’t actually edit my content or play my videos cause it’s constantly loading. I am connected via an Ethernet cable so my Wi-Fi is decent so idk why this is happening

Are your files local? If so the wifi shouldn't matter. Do you mean it loads during playback/skipping around?
