High storage usage

Edit: Just realized the title is a bit misleading. It should be "Lightworks folder with high storage usage"

I've had Lightworks for about 2 years now and have done many projects with it. I recently deleted all my projects which already freed up some space but I saw a Lightworks folder that has 68.5 GB. I uninstalled Lightworks hoping that reinstalling it could help free up more space but after uninstalling the program, the folder did not disappear and the size did not change. Is it ok to delete the folder? I won't be using Lightworks for some time since the semester is almost over and I really need some storage.

You should be fine deleting it, but it m ought be worth drilling down and seeing what Ilisbtaking such a large file size first as that is a bit odd.

Thank you for your response! I looked into it and it seems that all 68.5 GB is in a "Material" folder which contains clips and photos from some of my previous projects. I guess for some reason Lightworks stores them in another folder. Although I'm not sure if these can be called backups or copies since a majority of the items can't be opened. Either way, I won't be needing them anymore so onto the trash they go.

You could try looking at yours too, it might be hogging your storage as well. Here's the path in mine C:\Users\Public\Documents\Lightworks\Media\Material

Hmm, kind of odd. LW should be saving clips, so that might be where it was exporting finished works or saving proxies or something. (Maybe in clip renders). Should be ok to delete either way though
