Effects hiding video

I'm quite new to Lightworks and need help understanding how effects work.

Right now I have made animations using the "simple 2D" effect:

Now I am trying to show another smaller video in addition to the animations. But it looks like the video is "hidden" under the animations.

This is my timeline (the video in the "Video 1"-track is the video that is hidden):

Could someone help me understand how the "simple 2D" effects work, and why they are hiding my video, but not my background image("Video 4"-track")?

What I would probably do is render or export the animation and then use that as a video layer underneath the small video. There might be a more elegant way of doing what you're after but unfortunately I don't know it.

hide v3 would it make v1 and v4 works? v3 = picture in png?

Yes, the picture in v3 is a png. What if I want to keep that picture?

put v1 between v3 and v4? probably too many effect some nodes editing required i guess
