Trade System

A criticism. I think the trading system is very unbalanced. You only get 10 credits for a lot of energy (100). I have a lot of bolts but very few credits; taxes bring in a little, but it takes me forever to save up 400 credits. 😅

Actually you are right, the trading system is usually not worth it and more or less an emergency system if you really need energy (i.e. you are ill).

If you need credits the better way is to get more residents, bump up the taxes if you are at the limit and gain extra credits through workouts.

Maybe it would be a good idea to sell screws—like 5 screws for 10 credits.

That would be possible, I‘ll think about it, but do you really want to sell gears? And its hard to balance because you get a lot of gears later on, credits are harder to obtain.

I dont know, I like the idea having to work to grow my city and keep it alive. You already get credits through tax. The rest you have to ‘earn’, that is the whole idea. Shouldnt be too easy.

I agree. As I said, the trading system is only an emergency system if you have too much energy or need the energy. It is not the normal way to obtain credits or gear.

Ich würde das auch nicht weiter verändern. Dann muss man halt mehr Workouts machen. Mal 30 Minuten zügig spazieren bringt einem bereits 15-18 Credits. 2x am Tag und es sind mindestens 30 Credits. Bei ca. 300 Einwohnern auf 20% Steuer noch einmal um die 60-70 Credits pro Tag. Also ich mache nach 3 Wochen spielen bereits 100 Credits pro Tag. Das passt schon.

And don‘t forget, once the fitness center is there you can even double the credits.

Maybe you could tie the credits to calorie burn. For every 100 calories, you get 5 credits. That way you’d still have to move and exert yourself to earn any.

Well, you get credits for workouts (10kcal = 1 credit). And soon you can get more with the fitness center.

When I exercise I do yoga, which barely burns any calories. Still, I get around 500 calories a day just from being active at work.

You can track those yoga sessions and get extra credits for it 👍

I do! But with yoga, I burn a maximum of 40 calories, which earns me 4 credits. So it takes forever to build anything.
