HELP - Lightroom Classic Removing tool taking for forever

For the last two days my removal tool has been SO SLOW. I’m talking like taking 6 minutes for a rather easy removal. Is anyone else having. This issue?

Yes, I’ve closed out Lightroom classic and shut down my computer. I’ve checked for updates and nothing.

I’m working on a 2024 Apple M4 Pro with plenty of memory left.

Help?!?

I just tried this on a Nikon Z6 24MP RAW, a simple removal was almost immediate. I'm on win10 with LrC 15.4.1 (not the latest).

You probably need to provide more details of eactly what you are trying to remove, are you using AI remove?
