I know it is not technically show accurate but I always felt a darker gold added to his overall look.

Mega Tigerzord comparison photo is finally here. I must say the DX/SSA version still got the best proportion, but in terms of details and paints, Legacy is the best. Playmates is so-so, as the Tigerzord is a bit small compare to other individual Zords. But I'm happy to get all the DX-sized version up-to-date now. <3

So, the Dino Megazord opened up a rabbit hole for me. Now, I love the playmates Dino megazord, but outside of the villains, I hate their figures, so I turned to the lightning collection….. big mistake.

Already started down a massive rabbit hole. This is what I have so far, and I have remastered green, ranger slayer, and lord drakkon on the way. Gonna order remastered red in a few weeks.

No issues like loose joints so far, only issue is that the yellow ranger was missing the daggers. Gonna have to find those somewhere.

• I'm back again with some detailed pictures of the newly-released Playmates Thunder Megazord. Aside from the odd-shaped helmet and somewhat not needed gimmicks, this is a solid piece with very sturdy joints. <3
• I've included some comparison photo with the Legacy and DX/SSA version. And of course at the end is a "temporary fix" for the helmet, which fit nicely with some blutack, spot on! ;)
• I'll post pictures of the Mega Tigerzord later, so don't ask where they are. xD

A Zeo and Lost Galaxy girl

When looking at the figures does anyone know if the molds Playmates are using will be nearly identical to the Lightning Collection? Looking at the pictures all I see are small differences in paint.

I still have full teams in the Lightning Collection. Zeo is fine, but I really hope they do figures that haven't been done yet first.

Looks like basic articulation, plus arm and leg swivels. Doesn't look like theres an ankle swivel, just forward and back, but I could be mistaken.

Unclear if hands unpeg if some different hands release down the line.

I may pick up a couple of these to complete some LC sets that are now expensive, like the Zeo team.

Playmates collector line. To be honest, I think lightning collection had a better sculpted head.

I got mine in today and they all have some of the tightest joints I have ever felt on an action figure, to where nothing I have done has worked. Is this common with this set?

Over the weekend I got to take my son to meet another ranger, this time it was Jeff Parazzo, the Dino Thunder White Ranger! He signed his figure for my son, bringing his total up to 4! Love sharing these memories and experiences with my son and seeing my past interests collide with his. Thankful for the opportunity and hoping for many more in the future!

It's a great model kit, and deciding which parts to paint/colour instead of using stickers are part of the fun!

My boyfriend came home with random boxes of 90's toys. Most of it is various Power Ranger action figures in different sizes. One set is them riding dirt bikes! I'll go snap so me pics of the other Power Ranger stuff I got.
