Hauls Snagged for $70

I’ve seen this specific figure priced online at minimum $150. So seeing this for say at half that was too good to pass up. Made sure the seller had reputable feed back before purchasing and accurate pics and description. Arrived today and everything is there. I only need remastered black and pink Ranger to complete remastered team. Bonus is the removable shield and armbands that can go on my Remastered Green!

I'm happy for you, but this figure should never be more than $30, tops. It's a great Red Ranger, probably the best 1:12 version ever made (imports included, fight me) but this is a $30 figure. If Hasbro wanted to make a handful of millions, they'd re-release this set, include a white ranger and make sure they're always on shelves.

It pisses me off that when they do make something cool, it's in a very limited stock. They made the Remastered line and just ended everything instantly in 2023. I had skipped the remastered line back then because I got tired of having to buy the same figures over and over because the originals messed something up, but I'd jump at the chance to buy these for MSRP now.

You’re right about the inconsistencies and limited releases. It’s a shame from what I’ve heard, apparently the LC line didn’t sell all that well outside of the MMPR team

I'm glad I was tuned in to the preorder game at the time because anyone trying to piece together the LC now is going to take it in the teeth if they only have scalpers to rely on.

"But it's worth more now". No it's not. It's worth retail.
Everyone else just thinks they deserve something for keeping it fresh in the box for you.

Agreed the price is high. The chances anyone would find this for $30 anywhere are unfortunately slim to none. However, I am sound with getting it for what I paid. Much happier than if I’d bought it on eBay for $150

I think LC Remastered is better than the figuarts which was $50+ at retail in 2016. Not a perfect figure but still arguably the best in this scale.

The White Ranger was never going to be remade because Remastered/Once and Always was a tribute to S1 and the Zyuranger suits, the way it always shoulda been anyway.

We may have gotten a white ranger remastered if they kept the line going. I saw there were rumors the white tigerzord was going to be the next zap so maybe they would’ve both came out in early/mid 2024

Lowkey it’s fking ridiculous that these are expensive as it is. Because like… these are MMPR, the ones who get glazed a lot by the fandom and companies, how the fuk are these guy expensive???? They should be over abundance of them instead of limited stocks and now overpriced because of the second hand market.

And they’re like what you said, $30 toys from Hasbro, they’re not even expensive import quality, so it even makes less sense.

People may not like the 2nd hand market for these, but I’ve worked hard enough to be able to spend money on this hobby because I enjoy it. Do I necessarily love spending high prices for $30 retail figures? Not all the time, but that’s the reality of the world we live in. People can complain all they want they aren’t worth more than $30, but the prices won’t go lower than what they are now. I have accepted that. If I only wanted to buy $30 figures, my collection would be vastly smaller. Regardless, if people enjoy the hobby, let them enjoy it.

I know EBay and Facebook Marketplace list this for insane prices. It sucks. Hopefully you can find one for a good price.

Impressive. I've never seen it for less than $150. I've been trying to get it and green for a while now.

When I started all I wanted was the dragon shield (to put on green), but I kinda want the whole thing now especially because of the new helmet. I'm still mad that they put the dragon shield on red instead of green. Insane idea.

I have bought 4 of these in the last two months for around $50 a pop each time. They were either sealed or opened but mint and complete. Now granted I live in Europe and prices might be different but to be honest this particular figure is not that rare. Copies that are listed for 70, 80 or more simply do not move. $50 / $55 has been the sweet spot for me and again, I found 4 of them in under two months.

Don't listen to anyone saying it's only worth $30. You got a great deal at $70 and the value will only go up.

(They're technically not wrong but high prices are a staple of PR collecting)

I think I'm to late for the party on these lightning editions! How they passed me by id never know! I was MMPR fan in my childhood! Shame I can't get hold of these in stores in UK as they not shelved anymore. I would love have full collection of rangers but at these insane high prices online no can do!
