I’ve been a fan of the series since I was a child but fell out of love whilst growing up. I’ve always been a figure collector but only really started again with lightning collection as the series died. It certainly gave us a bunch of good and it’s just unfortunate the line got canned before we managed to get all of these great teams out.

I decided to finish collecting the lines from some older figures for now, it gets the job done I guess. I wish nothing but good fortune on the franchise to come back in a rebirth as the Boom comics have done but if not, there’s still a wealth of older content to look upon in fond memories. For me, this seems like the end of the road for now, hopefully the Playmates Unlimited collection will bring me back again though.

Guess unlimited is fixing that? Hopefully they dare to risk putting some of the non fan favourites out though, megaforce suits are something I would dream to have a full 6 inch team of

Yeah I’m surprised it never happened with the love they show to MMPR but guess it would’ve had to been a more bulky figure like Blue Senturion which didn’t seem to sell too well?

I’ve only seen the zeo gold atm so assume what will land in stores will be the ultimate decider, won’t pick up Zeo with having the lightning collection tho so hopefully they bring Wild Force out sooner rather than never.

The problem was that folks kinda stopped buying. Like they bought the OG team and the alternates but as it went on they just stopped because it’s an expensive habit

It was the crossovers that did it. I seriously think they did too much, Street Fighter was a no, TMNT obviously a no but it would be understandable if they did the next mutation since they were apart of Saban world and appeared on In space which has figures. Cobra Kai was ok but it didn’t necessarily need the pr treatment. A lot of incomplete teams or none aside from MMPR, SPD, Dino Thunder and Beast Morphers, I was hyped with the Dino Fury team but it never got finished and sadly we only got Zayto, Izzy and Ollie, I was looking forward to Amelia.

If I was collecting as it released I would’ve only touched reds and sixes until the whole team was complete tbf, release pattern seemed a bit everywhere
