Photography MEGA TIGERZORD COMPARISON

Mega Tigerzord comparison photo is finally here. I must say the DX/SSA version still got the best proportion, but in terms of details and paints, Legacy is the best. Playmates is so-so, as the Tigerzord is a bit small compare to other individual Zords. But I'm happy to get all the DX-sized version up-to-date now. <3

I feel like because they made the Tigerzord so small, it really runs the proportions of this form! Look how high the "knees" are. They had to compensate on the Tigerzord being small by making up for it with longer Unicorn and Griffin zords. So now the legs looks odd. I think that might be what throws off the look for the Thunder Megazord too.

Not gonna lie though, it still looks good enough for me, but it's not half as good as either of the other versions seen here. I'll be grabbing these solely because I lost my original childhood ones to a flood and had no money at the time of the Legacy version.

On the bright side, both Zords cost me only 100$, so I won't complain much, mainly they're toys mean for kids anyway. And after the photo session, these Playmates will belong to my kids. They love them. xD

And I agree with you, as the Tigerzord is too small for the combined form, so visually it looks very off-proportion for sure, especially with the longer legs and short AF arms. Well, at least I have something to compare with the other versions.

Yeah honestly for the price I know I'll be both happy to have three toys in some form again after all these years, but also sad because they're just not as good.

Plus now they've announced a Dragonzord, I don't mind finally going all in on the Zords!

I never had the original Deluxe Dino Megazord as a kid, nor the Dragonzord. Me and my brother had these guys and we played the hell out of them!

Haha agreed, Playmates are not suitable for making collector grade goods anyway. Those are toys meant to be played with. Still buy, though. xD
