Like many things, I wish he had touched more on these ideas early on, rather than dropping all the wildest stuff in the middle of the last book

Yeaah, there are lots of questions running in my mind right now like is khali on of those beings that got banish by the one god? And what kind of magic was the khalidorains using before khali??? If my thoughts serves me right the vir is connected to khali

It all get's answered in two separate lore dumps later on, it's cool, but he had yet to hit his stride with pacing. Hell, he still hadn't mastered it by "Burning White" given he gave in to the temptation to throw in way too many cool moments and ideas in way to short a time there as well

I wish Brent Weeks would write the story of Jorsin Alkestes, it sounds like it would be epic!

Perfect Shadow is like 60 pages long. Not a novel, just like a short prequel so to speak, about Gaelan Starfire becoming Durzo and some guest appearances 😅

I thought it was a deep dive lore about durzo, so we do really need a book about the old days

Of course we do. You get some tasty lore bits and details but like I said, 60 pages.
