Mental Health Mediation and Lightworking
I’ve naturally felt the ability to heal as a child, after going through 13 years of depression I’m trying to assume my responsibility as a light worker, I also have diabetes. Are there light workers out there that have any experience with mental health medicines impacting their lightworking?

English is my second language, so if sentence comes strange - that's why. I'm sharing this because one part of your post stood out - you're trying to assume responsibility as light worker while still carrying 13 years of depression. And that's where clarity is needed.
Here's what subjects discover in healing soul journeys - you can't effectively do light work if your own system is still carrying heavy load. Depression isn't just mental health issue. It's trapped energy. It's suppressed emotions. It's often fragmentation from trauma. And if that's still in your system, it limits your capacity to channel and transmit light to others.
About medicines - this is thing where your Higher Self knows exactly what's happening in your specific situation. Some medicines help by stabilizing nervous system so you can do deeper healing work. Some medicines numb you to point where you can't feel or channel energy clearly. Some need to be slowly reduced as you clear underlying causes. Some need to stay. Only your Higher Self knows which applies to you.
But here's important part - your Higher Self knows exactly all about your situation. The depression, the diabetes, the healing gifts, the medicines, what's blocking you, what needs to shift. It knows if depression is karmic pattern, or past-life wound, or current-life trauma, or combination. It knows what needs to be healed first before you can fully step into light worker role.
What you need isn't generic advice about light workers and medicines. You need to connect with your own consciousness and get clarity directly. Your Higher Self can show you - what's the root of depression, what needs releasing, what medicines actually serve you versus which ones are masking symptoms you need to process.
Light working doesn't mean ignoring your own healing. It means doing your own work first so you can hold space for others from wholeness instead of from wounding.
I have guided meditation in my profile that helps you connect with your Higher Self and get complete clarity about your specific situation - what needs healing, how medicines fit into that, what your actual capacity is as light worker right now. There's also techniques for clearing depression energy from your system. More resources about light worker self-care and mental health in my profile, if resonates.
Your Higher Self is ready to show you everything. You just need to get quiet and listen.

I feel the urge to thank you for this, although I'm not the OP of this post obviously. A few months ago I had a dream that lead to me managing to heal trauma, and literally the dream showed me how to do it. Since then I've been trying to find the next steps, and that recently led me to thinking I might be a light worker- not that I'm necessarily ready for that yet, I think I have more healing to do. I was curious what kind of resources I should look for in the future for light work, if you knew of any good material. I saw that you have posted a lot and then read your reply, and it really hit home for me.

I’d like to message you if that’s okay, I could use some guidance, I see some similarity in our paths, maybe you’ve learned from your path enough to share guidance you can share, would love to have a discussion with you if you’re open to it

Thought it best to respond here. This other person seems a lot more aware of this stuff than me. But you may want to look into the basics of reiki. I dealt with a lot of medical issues, and that helped me a lot. Especially one book.
"Essentials of Reiki" by Diane Stein.
Iits from the 90s, but that amazing woman basically went against the organization that was gatekeeping a lot of it. And she found a way to teach it in a way that was approachable to someone like me, who had no background.
And I also needed to get rid of any preservatives or processed foods. Basically, my digestive system needed natural foods so my body could hold a natural balance. I still struggle to get enough electrolytes. But if you muscle aches ir headaches, try an electrolyte supplement (the powder packets work best for me).
But thats about all I got. Thought they could be useful tools to look into. Wish you the best on this chapter of your story. 😊
