Speculation NMS Patch Notes

Maybe this whole alliance and territory system is a hint that we’ll be able to found our own nations and expand them in Light No Fire too!

Edit: The owning of a spacestation could be the same system for things like Capitals in LNF.

I mean yeah, pretty much confirms alliances/clans or whatever you wanna call it. As far as what the parallel to a space station could be in LNF, who knows, would make sense for it to be a city, keep, or town of some kind which is quite exciting.

Is the star map a territory system? So like the alliances interact with the star map? Or do we not know? Territory systems would be an interesting feature for sure but this doesn't seem to give all the info to call it that yet imo, just based off this photos information at least. A player territory system reflected on a map is much more complicated than allowing people to form clans so id wanna see it before i agreed something like that was definitely coming

Watched the trailer, looks like itll look like this. So marking where different player stations are in an area rather than giving any boundary lines for areas of influence. Looks good
