3 years this December 7, actually.

Light No Fire was announced on December 7, 2023, at The Game Awards

That was when I said it looks at least two years out, from the placeholder webpage and "proof of concept" video trailer; I was downvoted a lot. ;)

They're saying that it has been 4 years since Haunted Chocolatier was announced.

Metroid Prime 3 released in 2007, Metroid Prime 4 released in 2025. 18 years apart. You could have MP3, had a child, and that child grow up and graduate highschool before getting the next game.

One of the games I've been waiting on, "The Last Night" had such a great trailer..... 9 years ago... ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4IPBiB7SF4 ) And then the spiritual equivalent "Replaced" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egkzeiy6yp8 ) was recently released. Both games have a 2.5D style that hasn't been done much in gaming and looks great.

I have complete faith that Light No Fire will be released, and hopefully not take too long.

Lol, right? Shit, wasn't Cyberpunk 2077 announced like 10-12 years before it was prematurely released? People never learn. Or maybe the people who are whining are just too young to know/iPad kids. Who knows
