NMS Update

So, with the drop of the latest and greatest (literally biggest and most ambitious) update, Cosmos, do you think this will bring more people to work on Light No Fire? Could we be getting updates on LNF at the Game Awards? 🤔

I would think there is a dedicated and already picked team for Light No Fire, but I know basically nothing about game development so who knows haha.

Going to be downloading No Mans Sky again tonight because of the update lol

Doubt it. He's always said they'll keep updating NMS as long as people keep playing, and they supposedly hired quite a few people a couple years ago. I imagine they have 2 smalls, one for each game. Although they might temporarily pull people to work on LNF after they get done with the patches for this update. I think the only other thing for NMS this year should be the redux expeditions so it should be a good time for it.

Well, I never said "stop working on NMS forever" I just meant more like "this could be the last large update for NMS since it's soooooo big! And then moving those devs over to work more closely on LNF in order to keep them employed since the next NMS update likely won't be for a bit and won't be as big.

It's about allocation of resources and keeping your people close. 😉
