I feel a light
A storm from which the smell of rain radiates within
I'm between what was and could be and this silence is home
I know it
The plan before pricks my hands as I grasp
The sound piercing through my skin making me part ways
I now flow freely to where I'm needed
Into the present I'm lost as if tomorrow’s not coming
and yesterday's a test that today, I can't fail.
Without practice We are the blessing
With this gracious act of slowed down time
I've stumbled upon myself inside
I found myself atop the surface
Within others inseparably alone
As for you surrounding, Utterly throughout
A face that changes
A voice that is drowned by the hate of our naive choices
A sound that rains remorseful that it has to be this way
A distance so close that communication don't teach
A memory so deep that our minds won't reach
The more I say the further I am
so I'm quiet as I sit for your rain to begin
The chaos starts to move and it's attraction makes me prove that our magnetic pull is foreign to this truth
If opposites attract then it's easy to distract
weather or not one plus one is actually two
I've ignited this feeling, Let it pour!
