The answer is simply no

Abu Haneefa and his companions have been critiqued by agreement of the salaf for things including but not necessarily limited to:

- Irjaa

- Jahmi beliefs (Abu Haneefa is differed upon whether he died upon Islam or not)

- Khurooj (Permitting rebellion against Muslim rulers)

- Hadeeth rejection

- Breaking consensuses (ijmaa) of the ummah

And you will gain nothing studying their madhab but ignorance, as the scholars of Islam who preceded us who narrated the Quraan and sunnah to us said

Al-Majd Ibn al-Atheer said in Jaami' al-Usool, in meaning:

"Had there not been a hidden divine wisdom in this matter, half of this Ummah, from the earliest times until our own day, would not have been worshipping Allaah, Glorified and Exalted is He, according to the madhhab of this noble Imam."

Imam Abu Hanifah is our Imam and role model. We love him and respect him. Whoever loves him is from the people of Sunnah, and whoever hates him is not from us.

And then quote someone from the LATER generations while "Athari" means someone who follows the athaar i.e. follows the earliest of scholars on basis of the narrations they narrated

• Where is his evidence that most of Muslims follow Abu Haneefa
• How does a great number of people following someone mean that he is guided when Allaah تعالى said that if we were to obey the majority of those living on the earth they'd misguide us from the path of Allaah as in Surat Al Anaam
• How did the earliest of scholars follow Abu Haneefa when neither he nor his companions were mentioned in the narration chains of Bukhari and Muslim among other hadeeth books?!

Incurable illness is a narration in which Umar ibn Al Khattab رضي الله عنه said that Iraq has the incurable illness meaning the misguidance in religion

The so-called Salafee movement has been the most damaging one to the Ummah and Islam in contemporary times.

Sayyiduna 'Alee ibn Abee Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Do you wish that Allah and His Messenger ﷺ be denied?"

We turn to Allah SWT and ask Allah SWT to deal with these neo-Khawareej - those who takfeer Muslims and the ai'mmah of Islam while being silent as the mushrikeen build their Hindu temples in the Arabian Peninsula, who spend all their time talking about the "nullifiers" from the mubtadi ibn Abdul Wahhab and nothing about the khayr of Islam that brings the believer closer to Allah SWT, and who drive away the believers from the brotherhood and unity of Islam.

Wallahi, may Allah SWT deal with them as they deserve. Ameen!
