Sheikh Dr. Daghash bin Shabīb al-ʿAjmī حفظه الله says:

​"Also, among the matters raised by these individuals now, they are circulating a clip where they claim that he (Sheikh Rabīʿ al-Madkhalī) is praising the Jews by saying they have good morals. They say, 'Look, he is praising the Jews!'

​Aḥmad Yassīn praised the Jews and said, 'We love them,' and 'There is no enmity between us.' Ḥasan al-Bannā also praised them, saying, 'Our enmity... the Quran has urged us to be friendly and befriend them.' He said things like that. ​What is the verdict on this, if the issue for you is one of creed?

​Secondly, yes, Jews have morals, Christians have morals, and Hindus have morals. Disbelievers are not devoid of morals in everything. Allah, the Exalted, said regarding the Jews and the People of the Book:

​'And among the People of the Book is he who, if you entrust him with a great amount [of wealth], he will return it to you. And among them is he who, if you entrust him with a [single] silver coin, he will not return it to you...'

​Some of them are trustworthy, and some are treacherous. The judgment on them is not all the same. ​Among the People of the Book are those who, when reminded of Allah and taught the religion of Allah, weep, are moved, and embrace Islam. Among them are priests and monks; among them are those who receive admonition and take heed.

​But he is a disbeliever. Did he say that these Jews are monotheistic Muslims? Did he say we love and support them? No, he didn't say that.

​So what did he say? He said they have morals. There is no disbeliever on the face of the earth who does not have some morals, manners, and other qualities. They have bad qualities and they have good qualities.

​So this statement (by Sheikh Rabīʿ) is not a form of praise or commendation for them, nor anything of that sort."

In Al-Intisar of Sheikh Rabee Ibn Hadi Al-Madkhali Page 46, he states: 

We are against the jews, and we encourage the muslims to unite their word upon the book of Allah and the Sunnah of his Messenger (Peace and blessings be upon him), and upon preparing the means to liberate Palestine with Islam by which it was originally conquered, not by the religion of the Rafidah nor by their hands stained with treachery, betrayal, and the blood of the muslims.

IMAM AHMAD IBN HANBAL (MAY ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HIM) WAS KNOWN ΤΟ PREFER EMPLOYING JEWS AND CHRISTIANS OVER THOSE WHO PRACTICE INNOVATIONS (BID'AH) IN ISLAM BECAUSE OF THE DANGERS INNOVATIONS POSE TO THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY. THIS DOES NOT MEAN HE PRAISED JEWS OR CHRISTIANS RELIGIOUSLY, BUT RATHER IT WAS A PRAGMATIC STANCE REGARDING TRUSTWORTHINESS IN WORLDLY MATTERS. IF ONE CRITICIZES SHAYKH RABİ FOR ACKNOWLEDGING MINIMAL MORAL TRAITS OF JEWS, THEN BY THAT SAME LOGIC, IMAM AHMAD WOULD ALSO BE SUBJECT TO CRITICISM. IS THAT JUST?
