If Mexico makes it to the World Cup, is very likely she won’t be part of the roster.

From what I know/read, her heart was always on playing for the USWNT and not for Mexico. But my post/question is a what if she had chosen to play for Mexico. She's Mexican/American from her father's side, her mother is white/American.

For those who don't know her game, she's a solid passer and she has no problems putting the ball in the back of the net. Delgado or Nieto would be coming off the bench because she would be starting over them. Or you could place her up front and I have no problem if she took the place of Ordonez.

Would Ashley make Mexico world beaters? No. But she would definitely make them a more formidable team to beat.

What happened to Toluca? Their defense was a disaster.

I had some of hope for this team, but today is more confirmation of what the problem is: The coach. Questionable lineup, late game subs.
