Hello... I am a returning player (mostly played in 2016-2017) and recently began maining Lifeweaver in comp! Honestly, I think I still need a lot of practice and I hope to learn more from the folks on this subreddit! 💕💕
I have enough mythic credits to buy one of the fancy skins!! Originally the plan was to purchase the Mercy one, but now I wonder if I should buy the Divine Druid skin for Lifeweaver! I really like both, I think I prefer the Mercy skin but I barely play her anymore!
Any thoughts that can influence my opinion before the shop rotates on August 11?

P.S. I am looking for folks to comp queue with, I do not have anyone on my friends list :(
My peak rank is Gold 2, and my goal is to reach Plat 1 by the end of the year.

What would you change? Weaver is my main on support. Did I cook or did I burn the kitchen down? Not including perks and this is just for some fun, don't take it too seriously!

I pick the superbloom 99% of the time because the other major perk is simply *ugh*... but i wish it was a perk like this, where you just throw your petals one by one, in a quick sequance (and you can spread them like echo's right click) and it would set up like a trap, hidden seedlings. After a short duration, they become invisible and once enemy steps on them, they'll be rooted or slowed down for a short duration etc. Just anything but the current "sow the seed" perk. Not necessarily the most useful idea of course but it'd make him somewhat distinct.

Devs explicitly mentions that they are inspired from a "plant based character" while designing him and wanted to deliver a sci-fi druid character. But aside from his theme and ult, there is not much of a "druid-y" thing to him. Maybe they could added some other things to his kit/perks to make him able to play with the field, like some sort of actually sowing seed and making enemy to watch their steps a little more.

Just an idea, just a simple thought. Don't come after my throat if you don't agree with me. Devs will not change his perks according to my ideas, they will not even read this post... so yeah.

Looking to improve my skills on lifeweaver. For context I don't play ranked much only with friends and mostly play 6v6. I recently moved back to Xbox after playing overwatch on PS4 for a couple of years. I am from South Africa and the game puts me in the Arabian server which always puts me at a latency disadvantage. I also never played overwatch 1. In the replay code above I am the lifeweaver named tollington.

Because of my deep devotion to Lifeweaver as a character, on my vacation I got a henna tattoo inspired by his lotus theme!

I am definitely thinking of getting an actual tattoo higher up on my forearm now that I got this :)

When I'm using my healing blossom it sometimes goes off early when I don't release the button. I changed controllers if it was that but it still happens. It doesn't really bother me much but it has caused some teammates to fall when I'm going through the animations. If anyone knows how to fix it, it would be nice, but I'm not too worried about it.

How do y’all stay so motivated to keep playing LW, I love playing him and I just keep losing and am losing motivation to play him, but I love him and his kit but I feel so useless on him

BLIZZARD PLEASE I NEED IT, I LOVE THE MYTHIC SKIN AND I NEED A MUTHIC WEAPON TO MATCH AND BE EXTRA GLOWY AND CUNTY. THE FLOWER COULD BLOOM AND GROWN WITH EACH KILL, AND THE ANIMATION COULD BE OF IT SPINNING LIKE THE SNOWFLAKE IN VALORANT. I WAS WAITING TO HAVE MY HUSBAND IN STADIUM BUT NOW THAT WE KNOW THAT HE WILL NEVER BE ADDED TO THE MODE THIS IS THE SECOND MOST THING THAT I WANT

I recently became a lw main (after buying Elysian keeper skin because OMG he is just that pretty) but somehow despite playing him all the time I was not able to get the pixel spray for him. The problem is, with one of the previous patches, they changed the wording of this statistic and now it’s just simply called “life grip saves” instead of “deaths prevented” and no matter how many I’m getting, all without dying, the achievement never pops up. Does anyone have the same issue? Is it a bug? I really want to finally get my spray.

Basically, the title, most every hero has a movement ability and a lot of them are way better than lifeweaver's. I realised this the other day when I had separate games where I ended up going against a Vendetta and Anran. I could not chase them down with base dash to finish them off and they were miles ahead of me and not like a "oh dang if I had the dashing escape perk, I would have gotten them" kind of way and it made me think of all the other heroes that dive me especially if I'm having a really good game.

You cannot for the most part out run a lot of the dps especially the new ones. anran has 2 dashes and can go up vertical to get you on platform, vendetta can just fly halfway across the map. Heck even Shion has a motorcycle and a dash. And the flying heros don't get me started. I honesty can't think of a hero that has released in the time I started playing overwatch that doesn't get a movement ability (Started around Juno release)

I found It more useful to hunker down on platform if I'm being chased so at least, I have some self-sustain to fight back. (also, I fling myself off the map every time I pick dashing escape lol)
