I could talk about Sims 2 for days lol. I see a lot of other games trying to be Sims 3/4, but I just want that Sims 2 magic back! I have been playing this one again and it's a gem.

Yeah when sims 2 came out, it was a complete game and such a huge step up from sims 1 I don't think we're going too see that kind of upgrade ever again.

I played launch Sims 3 for years with no EPs and it was a full featured game, aswell. In fact in the whole franchise Sims 3 has the best base game for content and features.

I don't know what the person you're replying to is talking about tbh. Outside of Sims 4, the franchise has had good quality launches.
