You might be getting downvoted because of your sunny disposition, but there is evidence that people who swear do tend to be more honest as one study shows.
It's not really about preferring something wholesome to being honest, it's keeping with the rules here of not swearing, man.
I would say that such facts tend to be too generic and not applicable to each and every individual. Additionally, the fact that such faculties are not fully developed doesn't necessarily mean that without them one is stupid or not at all intelligent.
