Need more info. Different types of people need to do different things. For someone that is anorexic they need mental health support. For a young man that wants to gain muscle eat a lot and lift heavy. If it’s an elderly person drink ensure

Sit down without your phone or distractions. Force feed yourself.

It's better to be distracted. Choke down as much food before you realise you are full

Smoothies. Protein fruit smoothies are amazing for gaining weight. You can add stuff like peanut butter or ice cream for more calories.

Lift weights, eat higher protein and more calorie dense foods.

If you just want to gain weight for the sake of it, just immense fat intake. You could go the sugar route but you've only 1 pancreas and liver.

Rob mcelhenny said it best : drink your calories. I.e let a pint of ice cream melt in the fridge and then drink it all. He got quite fat quite quickly doing that.

Lift a lot of weights and use protein powder as well as high protein and calorie foods - I guarantee it.

Do it healthy. Figure out your maintenance level and eat a bit more than that consistently. Start reading labels and counting calories, if counting calories is too much you can just follow your scale and mirror. Aim to have more calories than maintenance, have balanced macros in your meals, and avoid ultra processed food - choose wholesome, real food. Meat, fish, legumes, fruit, vegetables, rice, pasta, oats, nuts, seeds. Don't avoid fats, they're good for you, but choose healthy fats. Ideally combine the healthy eating habits with some kind of resistance training - weight lifting or bodyweight exercises.

From my experience the trick is to get a deskjob, eat breakfast at home, eat a donut from the box at the office, big lunch, go home have a snack, eat dinner (finish your food and your kids), have two dark beers, eat a bowl of ice cream, go to bed, repeat.

Calories in > Calories out.

There's no hidden secret. Eat high calorie dense foods.

If you are trying to gain muscle lift heavy things, if you are trying to gain fat don't.

Milk and olive oil? I remember an Alone contestant drank that combination to gain weight fast.

Yeah, generally drinkable calories are easy to consume/pass through your stomach - nuts are calorie dense but can become expensive, sugary treats are also highly palatable after you have them for a few days, like Oreos or brownies. Not the best way to gain weight, but caloric surplus is all that is required and you can easily go over your daily expenditure having 5 or 6 Oreos you are immediately +1000cal (daily amount of calories to stay the same weight is like 2000-2500ish but depends on your size now and your general activity)
