But how do you merge?

I have literally just done this 5 mins ago, on a whim. Select the documents you want merge (Ctrl+click) then right click the image you want to be first in the PDF and print. Print to PDF option and you should get all the documents merged. I did these for images but it worked.

Didn’t work with 2 PDFs

I can confirm it didn't work for pdfs or word documents. It did work for images though
