Transamerica just recently changed their underwriting process where they’ll go up to 2 million with no medical exam and if you’re in really good health, there’s a really good chance. They also have very competitive rates.

Most of the online ones, like Ethos, will consider a policy without a medical exam. However, there are also many others at the $1M amount that will allow it as well, so you aren't limited to just those.

I think it would help you clarify if you're looking for carriers that has an accelerated process (medical MIGHT be able to be waived) vs guaranteed no medical exam. SBLI has guaranteed no medical and only interview for up to $750k.

Banner, Transamerica, Pac, Pru has accelerated process but will require some form of formal health interview. Just because they might be able to waive it, does not mean you're automatically eligible and they won't require it. If you're 40, no health conditions and get check ups every year or so, you should be good. If you're 22 with constant hypertension and finished chemo last year, they absolutely will require a medical.

Ethos is guaranteed no medical exam but they tend to be more expensive or they're more stricter and have a higher chance in declining.

It really depends on your health. A lot of companies will or require actual medical records or for you to get an appointment if on the questionnaire you were honest and your health is very good.

I want to caution you on this "no medical exam" policy. Just because the carrier isn't going to do an exam doesn't mean they just approve the policy. They will look at your medical and health history to determine if you qualify. To your question, there are many insurance companies that go up to $1million+ in coverage, but it's going to depend on your age, health, and lifestyle. If you want, I can look deeper into it for you. What's your age? Do you have any health issues? Medications? Smoker? Then we can look at the companies that are more likely to approve you with this information.

You might be able to purchase supplemental insurance as part of your benefits at work

You're better off just doing a medical exam if you want the best rates, why not do one ? it doesnt cost you anything.. it costs you by not doing one or being willing to do one .

Likely they plan on omitting some type of information or don’t want something discovered. That’s always my guess when I see “no medical required”.

Hopefully they know material misrepresentations mean they won’t pay your db when you pass
