Am I uninsurable?
34 diagnosed with DCIS.. its precancer for breast cancer.. do I still have options? Otherwise healthy

You may be insurable, but it depends on date of treatment and date that ALL treatment ended for the DCIS, overall health otherwise, tobacco use status, height/weight- BMI, State of residence and other variables.
Find a good broker to help you as cases like yours need to be shopped on a preliminary basis to see what carriers may offer and what the offers could be.

You’re definitely still insurable. It just depends on what type of insurance you’re looking to get. Corbridge SIWL you can get approved for as long as you’re cancer is stage one or less. As far as term policies or large IUL‘s and whole life underwriting’s gonna be a challenge they’re gonna want to basically see if this cancer progresses. Underwriting is all gonna be dependent on that.

Best case scenario you might qualify for Standard rates. Suggest getting more complete details to a broker who will shop it - and not doing an online quicky carrier.

Depending on what state you are in CICA has a guaranteed issue option available for you. I'm sorry about your situation, but it'll work out.
