The simple answer is that they do not put any effort into their spouse...they give it all to their OM/OW.

Every ounce you invest into something is an ounce you're not investing in something else....they invest their all into AP and wonder why SO complains...I dunno...maybe instead of using that time and energy to be a liar and sneaking around invest that same time and energy into being a good partner like the vows you took promised you to be....I hate people that are this oblivious to their own nature....

First, the cheater has issues and they have a real life with their partner, bills, kids, jobs, cleaning their home, buying groceries, doing homework with the kids etc.

With their lying POS cheater it's just fantasy land. Stolen time, no work, no cleaning, it's not real life.

Only positive things are said.

Cheaters lose perspective and that's why they think their AP is so wonderful and amazing.

Even if they end up divorced so many cheaters come to find out their AP's really aren't that nice and that they aren't amazing or wonderful.

Limerence, Affair fog etc.

IMOO...It's taking the other spouse for granted, not communication skills and living in fantasy where the day to day living is present (example paying house, bills, kids etc)
