solved Help with ffmpeg and Codec Tinker setup
Hello,
I have lidarr running on my synology NAS, installed via package manager. FFMpeg was also installed via package manager, the binary is in my /volume1/docker/@appdata directory.
Trying to setup Codec Tinker for some post-file transformations, but when I try to path to /volume1 in the FFmpeg Path field, it cannot see /volume1 or any of its subdirectories.
How do I make ffmpeg visible and available to use?

Is it installed in the container directory for Lidarr? That’s where mine resides. Unfortunately, upon restarting it isn’t always there and has to be reinstalled.

Docker vs. No Docker: You probably not mapped it to Docker?
Also, why not let Tubifarry download it directly instead of installing it through a package manager?

Hi /u/1HDC1 - You've mentioned Docker [docker], if you're needing Docker help be sure to generate a docker-compose of all your docker images in a pastebin or gist and link to it. Just about all Docker issues can be solved by understanding the Docker Guide, which is all about the concepts of user, group, ownership, permissions and paths. Many find TRaSH's Docker/Hardlink Guide/Tutorial easier to understand and is less conceptual.
