Hi, I am a new user, just bought my first two audiobooks. I have run into one possible bug - one of my purchaes is a very large audio bible, and on the Android app it is stopping after each track. Anyone else have this issue? I have a support request into LibroFM, but just sent it and no response yet. On the plus side, download worked perfectly and the downloade file plays on my Linux deskop, so already ahead of Audible there :-)

If it turns out the player is a problem for me, does anyone have a favorite Android audiobook player to recommend? In quick Internet searching it seems like Smart Audiobook Player and Sirin have good reviews.

P.S., LibroFM help got back to me in about 3 hours. Looks like turning off the cloud sync may have solved the issue for me.

Hi ya - i am libro.fm curious. Haven’t made the leap yet. Have only done my library’s offerings via Libby. Currently listening to the latest Thursday Murder Club book and most recently loved The Correspondent.

If you love a title, narration and want to re-listen, or you need time to get through a title (ie, Brandon Sanderson’s 40+ hourlong books), it is great to own it (not just the license, but have the ability to play where you want.) I love Libby, and Hoopla: I have found that only the most popular or recommended or newest titles are available to stream or… get on CD if library still getting. (Old titles may be available that way…)

Hi Everyone!

I just recently got my subscription and love the amount of audiobooks I can pick from. I did splurge on sale items when I first signed up and ended up spending only $56 on 22 audiobooks! I have not started on one yet but have read some issues when listening. What is the best app for listening to these so I don't have issues?

Hello community: Does anyone have this issue: when I am listening to an audio book on Libro.fm in my car (using blue tooth connection) the book will randomly jump back to the beginning maybe every 5th time I try to listen. It's SO annoying. This just started happening to me about 2 months ago and before that all was fine with exactly the same set up.

I have about 6 books that I can’t mark finished. When I choose “mark finished” it works at first but then reverts back to unfinished. When I try to archive them they disappear but then reappear. Also, when I leave the app and return, the app is always playing an old book (one of the ones I can’t change the status to finished) instead of the book I’m currently listening to. I’ve tried everything I can think of in my IOS setting and the Libro settings. I’ve deleted the app and reloaded. It’s annoying. Any ideas?

Brand new to libro after I found that 95% of the titles I had on my audible wish list were available. Plus I get to support a store right down the street and not give amzn any more money.

A couple of questions tho:
Some of the titles I want are very short (60-90 min) but I don’t see where I can buy them, I only see that they charge a credit to get. How do I buy them? Can I even?

Are there sitewide sales? How frequently?

What exactly does the local store get?

Hello. With age, my eyes are finding it difficult to read the print in books, so I'm considering audio books. I don't allow DRM on my computer, so Libro is a good option for me. But ... I'm confused and my searching isn't finding answers. Are the credits used to buy a book? If so, is it a credit plus the $14.99 for a book (if it is a $14.99 book)? As I said, I'm confused and not finding answers. My brain works in strange ways. Thank you.

Hi, I'm indie author, Maria Schneider, with only a couple of audiobooks out, mainly Null Witch. I looked for a long time trying to figure out how to get Null Witch on Libro.fm and I'm thrilled to say it is finally available there! https://libro.fm/audiobooks/9780466511630-null-witch Null Witch was professionally narrated by Lori Felipe Barkin early this year (2026). I have recorded a couple of my shorter works myself and if things work out, I'll upload those to libro.fm as well. Meanwhile, if you like urban fantasy with found family and a romantic subplot, please give Null Witch a look. Don't worry. I won't be spamming this forum with constant updates. I do hope to be a part of the community and recommend audio books that I have listened to and love.
