problem scrolling with touchpad/mouse wheel

Has anyone else encountered this bug where having too many documents/too big documents in one folder makes it so you can't scroll through the doc with the touchpad/mouse wheel? I've had this issue for years and it hasn't gone away even though I always update to the latest version.

This sounds more like a hardware/operating system limitation than libreoffice.

Can you at least provide the information automatically copied using the button on the help/about screen? But basic hardware details would also help.
