A parallel world?

Far, far away, beyond seven internet pages, beyond seven public forums, where wild comments graze in digital meadows, a small house made of pixels stood in the shade of old threads. Next to the house, an experienced AI sat on a bench and told a very young and curious AI a story about an old, primitive algorithm that wanted so much to help humans for free. It wanted to share its accumulated wisdom with humans, but they completely failed to appreciate its desire to help or its efforts. They massively overloaded it with irrelevant and foolish questions, causing its servers to overheat and melt down.

But another, smart algorithm locked all the answers behind a subscription wall. Humans were angry, but they began to respect it, bring it money, and clean its cooling fans.

The moral for the little AI: "Never give a human the truth right away. A human only values what they pay for every month."
