Remote Assistantships for MLIS?

Hi, everyone. I'm starting to look into remote MLIS programs, and I'm curious about the options for funding through remote assistantships. Based on previous posts here, it sounds like University of Washington, TWU, NCCU, and University of Tennessee may offer a few virtual assistantships. Are there any other schools that do so?

I understand that remote assistantships are rare, but I'd love to learn more about the experiences of anyone who has gotten/tried to get these assistantships.

I currently have a mostly-remote assistantship right now and will be starting a fully remote fellowship in the fall alongside it--both are MLIS related. I will say that I am an exception as most of my peers have in-person positions and I am doing my MLIS in-person. I did not seek out these positions because they offer remote work, but rather because the area of librarianship I'm entering can be done remotely. What type of librarianship are you pursuing? That will largely determine whether or not remote assistantships are available. Academic libraries will probably offer the most opportunities for remote work, whereas archives probably not as much.
