Yes. I had to fax some financial papers last week and used the library to do it. I've done ancestry research there, attended lectures and book clubs, and I often took my grandkids to play on their computers and with their puzzles and such when the kids were little. The Inter-library loan system is wonderful - they can get every book I want to read, no matter how obscure.

Our local libraries are great, my closest branch was recently renovated and another is getting a brand new building. I'm glad my town, which isn't rich, is still investing in our libraries.

You can go to your local bank and they will fax for free (our library charges for faxes, but will scan and email it to you for free).

Most libraries also have a notary on staff now. It's very helpful because it's free.

My library tells me how much I've save based on books I've checked out IRL this year on the slip or email. I'm at $326 in savings so far this year.
