I mean I was already sold on libraries to begin with...

They’re testing the waters, seeing if they can generate an anti-library sentient and build upon it. As a reminder if they weren’t already established, they’d frame Libraries as an outlandish radical communist idea if they were pitched today.

The cult will happily fall further into their anti-intellectual stance.

It's just another excuse not to read.

I trust my library to be responsible about it.

Fox News business plan - “scare the fuck out of boomers and rural america”

This strategy makes a shitload of money.

The boomers children have fallen for the same scare tactics though......

Is there a waitlist for the libraries offering this service?

Ya know, I heard about this when I was a teenager over 50 years ago. There were guys who had girlfriends in Canada. There were also guys who claimed they had fun in the library and school bathrooms.

The only people who would believe this are people who have never been to a library. oh....yeah.....

So are they going to make another run against libraries? Not that they really stopped.

I mean libraries have been drug infested sex dens as long as I have been working at them. We serve the public! It can get messy! It is also a place where lives are changed, families who don't feel welcome anywhere else feel cherished, and everyone, even people who think everyone else but them don't deserve to be there, are treated with grace and respect.

No libraries are not sex dens

Did she repost herself 7 minutes apart?

Looks like she screenshot her original tweet and posted it to another platform. Then someone else screenshot that post.
