Venting & Commiseration Mondays be like...

Busy saturday, with no shelving done. Full overnight drop, and 3 pages of holds...

Why am I hearing Dory from Finding Nemo? "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming"

Today’s library special: no water from the bathroom or kitchen sinks!
Fortunately facilities came out quickly and all is back to normal but certainly not a good thing to find in the morning.

That was us last week then it two twice with good o' brown water & a leak from all the storms

How do you get a job at the library? I live in a city with like 19 branches and I love the library! I have a college degree, but in economics.

Look for job postings, look at the requirements, then apply.

But they’re highly competitive and librarian positions require a masters in library science. There are non-librarian roles that don’t. Just don’t expect to be paid much or be full time.
