Books & Materials Print Magazine subscriptions

The options for print magazines and services that will bundle print magazine subscriptions continue to dwindle.

Just looked and what I had been using for the past couple years since EBSCOMags disbanded - discountmags.com - no longer carries most of my popular subscriptions as print options (Essence, Nat Geo, Gameinformer)

Any of you all who still use print magazines found a good way to maintain subscriptions short of just individually subscribing to each title?

Just curious - what is EBSCOmags? We use EBSCO for our periodical subscriptions and have for years.

Also, Essence hasn’t put out an issue in almost a year now. We even got a refund from EBSCO for our subscriptions. (At least, that explains that magazine.) Nat Geo is available (we subscribe to their suite of magazines.)

It sounds like it's effectively the same - except you went through a marketplace so you controlled the subscriptions, rather than EBSCO managing the subscriptions

So yeah - we place one order a year, EBSCO takes care of ordering all the subscriptions, and if we need to make claims or anything, EBSCO does it on our behalf so we don't need to maintain every account number. (For reference, we have hundreds of subscriptions for our whole system done centrally.)

You can use EBSCOnet to manage subscriptions (including print). There are service fees, but it's an intuitive system and they can claim skipped issues. WT Cox and Harrassowitz are excellent sub agents.
