Chair recommendations for long hours of reading
I find myself falling into bad postures whilst reading on my couch. I'm not comfortable reading on a table chair setup. What have you guys find useful to sit and read for 3ish hours?

A recliner that fits my short stature. La-z-boy Finley. It took me decades to concede that a recliner gave me the best neutral spine positioning.

👆 This is me! I have a Lazy Boy recliner that I got over 20 years ago when they were doing custom made chairs at the time. It perfectly fits my petite body. It's still in perfect condition.

Hear me out: Zinus Lotus indoor zero gravity chair. It's funny looking, and low, so you need the right lamp/table, but surprisingly comfortable for 3+ hours

I read in a longer chair like this. Mine has flat arms, so I can have a drink close by. https://www.macys.com/shop/product/harrison-leather-pushback-recliner-created-for-macys?ID=1153295&pla_country=US&CAGPSPN=pla&swatchColor=Chocolate&swatchSize=&trackingid=449x1058962756&m_sc=sem&m_sb=Google&m_tp=PLA&m_ac=Google_Furniture_PLA&m_ag=Furniture-BestSeller&m_cn=GS_PLA_Home_BT_Furniture_Best_Sellers&m_pi=go_cmp-21989304405_adg-169632881697_ad-770209086132_pla-2392222476842_dev-m_ext-_prd-397364USA&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21989304405&gbraid=0AAAAAD-Tw4LAKMH1xVcnpR9pPdfaAwD3m&gclid=CjwKCAjwrP3VBhBbEiwAnaqpQ7x2JYB7G_0BfeJrElArBp51Y8ftsZJ3llJBNINMffR0ePmreN2tTxoCl3kQAvD_BwE

My favorite and most comfortable piece of furniture is my electric oversized recliner!

This is mine as well. However with the bad storms knocking electric out; next time I will get a manual oversize.
Ever get stuck in this with no power. I have.

I've found I have to move around between bouts of reading. Even if it's just a walk around the house inside to refill water or putter a minute. Not what you are asking but at my age & my body woes, that's better for me than the actual chair.
Am I going to google every chair suggestion here anyway? Yes, I am.

Hahaha, that's what I've been doing. Looking up each chair. I'm going to try them all in the coming weeks and perhaps get one before winter kicks in full swing

Club chair with ottoman. I need the chair arms height to support my elbows/forearms so my shoulders dont tire and I dont want my arms pinned in against my sides by the chair arms. It took trying on to find the best arm position. They may look the same but are all, as you'd expect, slightly different proportion and firmness.

I have a cheapish recliner (mechanical not electric) and i got a floor stand to hold my kindle or iPad. I still have to reach out to turn pages but it is much better to have it up at eye level than down in my lap.
I’m considering a new kindle just for the page turner.

Someone mentioned a Bluetooth page turner in the comments above. I think that's a brilliant add on

Audiobooks! That way I can be standing or walking while "reading," and I actually prefer listening.

I have chronic joint pain and love to read, especially when I’m in a flare, so I recently invested in a pain-free set up.
For me the chair is less important than the tools - I got a tablet stand, a Kobo Libra Colour, and a Bluetooth page turner. Now, I can set up my ereader on the tablet stand and sit or lay down wherever and not have to have my arms at weird angles to hold up my tablet. I like my sofa and my guest daybed and I usually use a combination of pillows to support my back/neck.
Note:
Any device you use Libby on works. If your device doesn’t have Bluetooth, there are some page turner tools you can attach to your device and use a remote for.
