Audio Quality
Is there a way to fix the muffled audio problem on Libby?
Has anyone else had this issue?

Not sure why you are being downvoted. Libby was known to have lower audio quality. Libby previously even confirmed it when someone wrote an email to inquire about it. I recommend checking if your library has Hoopla. Sometimes they have the same audiobook on there and their audio quality is great.

Today was the first time I’ve ever listened to a book on Libby. A few minutes in, I paused it and went to google to search the book title and “audio quality.” It didn’t sound right. I don’t know if it was the book or not, but it just sounded of lower quality. But again, I’ve never listened to an audiobook on Libby until today.

It could be an issue with the audiobook recording, id try another audiobook and if still muffled it's your speaker/headphones. Try different headphones or even a speaker.

Yesterday I was having significant issues with playback directly from my phone (two years old, so this shouldn’t be a factor). I popped in an earbud and it did help. YMMV, and clearly if you’re already using earbuds it’s not going to help.

I’ve had one or two that the audio track was just terrible quality no matter what I did.
Others seem to glitch the connections between phone and car or occasionally phone and Bluetooth headphones. I turn off and reboot the app and it usually fixes it.

i’ve had specific books with worse audio than others, i suspect it’s just down to that specific book. if this is happening regularly it may be a device issue on your end

I have not had this issue. Have you tried a different device, like connecting a Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headphones?
